DYTEK® A Amine (2-Methylpentamethylenediamine, MPMD)
INVISTA DYTEK® amines inspire unique solutions to the toughest synthesis challenges. Products such as DYTEK® A amine and DYTEK® DCH-99 amine bring creative ideas to life. DYTEK® A amine is useful in polyamide resins, hot melt adhesives, polyurethanes and epoxies. It is preferred for epoxy coatings when used as a formulated adduct and is particularly useful in the preparation of concrete sealers, glossy decorative floor coatings, and flexible coatings and for outdoor applications where fast curing is desired.
DYTEK® DCH-99 Amine (1,2-Diaminocyclohexane)
DYTEK® DCH-99 amine is valuable in the curing of epoxy coatings, composites, and in polyurethanes and polyureas. In coatings, DYTEK® DCH-99 amine is suitable for use in epoxy-based flooring coatings, industrial maintenance coatings, marine protective coatings and chemical resistant tank linings. In composites, DYTEK® DCH-99 amine is appropriate for high performance applications—including wind turbine blades, aircraft fuselage components, automotive parts and sporting goods, such as racing bike wheels and golf club shafts.
