CORDURA® Fabrics Featured in New Divide 55 Mile High Mountaineering Pack

New pack manufacturer selects CORDURA® fabrics for lightweight durability

Mile High Mountaineering, a new backpack manufacturer, is adopting INVISTA’s CORDURA® fabrics in their new Divide 55 pack. The pack features a mix of three different CORDURA® fabric technologies for targeted strength-to-weight ratio performance.

Mile High Mountaineering incorporated best in class CORDURA® fabrics on the entire pack body of the Divide 55. The main body uses a 315 denier ripstop CORDURA® Lite fabric, the bottom of the pack and reinforcement areas feature 840 denier CORDURA® Ballistic fabric, while the extendable collar of the pack uses 100 denier mini-ripstop CORDURA® Ultralite fabric. All are designed to provide added durability and enhanced performance characteristics.

Complementing the durable materials on the pack, Mile High Mountaineering added many useful and innovative features including an integrated rainfly, deployable water bottle holster and a fully adjustable harness. The pack also comes with a built-in stuff sack compartment, perfect for storing essentials like clothes or a sleeping bag. The adjustable dual-pivoting hip belt allows the pack to move with the wearer’s body, and the Backdraft air channeled back panel keeps air moving to maintain a cool back.

“The new Mile High Mountaineering Divide 55 pack, featuring three of our CORDURA® fabric technologies, is a perfect go-to pack for most rigorous adventures,” says Cindy McNaull, global CORDURA® brand and marketing director. “This mid-sized pack is fully equipped and designed with the outdoor adventurer in mind. The CORDURA® fabrics incorporated are designed to help withstand tough outdoor end uses, and the bag’s exceptional functionality makes packing and carrying your load quite efficient.”

Available in a variety of colors, the Mile High Mountaineering Divide 55 pack, featuring CORDURA® fabrics, offers efficient packing and durability for all outdoor adventures.
