SO.F.TER. and INVISTA Engineering Polymers announce distribution agreement for Mexico
SO.F.TER. to market INVISTA’s TORZEN® brand portfolio of polyamide 6,6 engineering resins in Mexico; companies will appear at Plastimagen Exhibition in Mexico City, stand 761
The SO.F.TER. Group and INVISTA have signed a distribution agreement that allows SO.F.TER. to market INVISTA’s TORZEN® polyamide 6,6 products in Mexico. The technical and sales staffs from both companies will be available to present the new range at the Plastimagen Show in Mexico City, March 12-15.
“Our relationship with SO.F.TER. will help enhance the supply of nylon 6,6 to the Mexican plastics market,” said Kip Kimball, director of INVISTA's reinforced polymers for North America. “We are thrilled to support SO.F.TER. as they provide local representation for INVISTA’s TORZEN® resins,” he said.
In addition to distributing TORZEN® products, SO.F.TER. produces and distributes a wide range of thermoplastic elastomers in Mexico and has recently started the production of rigid compounds—based on polypropylene and polyamide 6—specifically aimed at the automotive and home appliance industries.
Riccardo Meucci, global commercial director for SO.F.TER., said, "We are very pleased to have INVISTA in our portfolio. Thanks to the range of TORZEN® polyamide 6,6 and the other engineering plastics in our production, we are able to offer the Mexican industry a package of solutions and services unparalleled in the market."
