INVISTA Announces High Tenacity Polyester Price Increase

INVISTA Performance Fibers announced today a price increase of 10 percent on its high tenacity polyester fibers in North America effective October 1, 2004. The increase will affect several markets including industrial webbing and seatbelts, coated and laminated fabrics, and cordage. New pricing is necessary to help offset increasing raw material, transportation and energy costs that continue to impact INVISTA’s polyester fiber business.
