Antron® Carpet Fibre Metallic Appearance

United Kingdom – INVISTA’s Antron® carpet fibre metallic yarns can now be seen in the headquarters of leading London firm of solicitors, Marks & Clerk.

Engineered to provide a state of the art flooring appearance for modern 21st century commercial interiors, Antron® carpet fibre’s metallic yarns are featured in many new products and are used in a growing number of installations.

Two flooring styles in Antron® carpet fibre from Tessera are installed in the renovated Marks & Clerk building in the West End of London.

Specified by leading architects ATI, the Helix and Etch carpet tiles from Tessera were used for their design compatibility. The Helix accent colour matches that of Etch to provide the ideal interior design requirement, combining good looks with the hard wearing performance, ease of maintenance and the colour fastness qualities of the Antron® Excel SC solution dyed yarn.

The impressive building entrance, reception area and boardroom all showcase Tessera’s Etch in Pecan. The clean modern metallic look is continued throughout the building, including the office areas and corridors, with Helix in Burnish.

Ray Smith and Rodi McLean, leading architects for ATI, commented, “Choosing the flooring for this project was one of the easiest decisions to make. The metallic, reflective qualities of Helix and the subtleties of Etch fit well with the scheme. Our clients, Marks & Clerk, were looking for a quality, performance carpet tile that met their modern design requirements. As soon as they saw the Helix and Etch styles from Tessera the decision was made. The Antron® yarn used in both products provided the modern clean look, as well as, the performance attributes they were after.”
