INVISTA INTRODUCES FREEF!T™ LYCRA® TECHNOLOGY: RE-ENGINEERING TRADITIONAL SHIRTING FABRIC

WILMINGTON, Del., September 2007 - Introducing FREEF!T™ LYCRA® - a new patent pending technology from INVISTA. Engineered to provide the ultimate in softness, breathability, unsurpassed comfort and superb shape retention to help consumers stay cool, comfortable and confident. This breakthrough new LYCRA® fabric technology provides just the right amount of give and allows the combination of fashion and function, delivering the benefits that men and women are looking for in shirtings.

At the heart of these new technologies are patent pending methods for making LYCRA® core spun yarns with the optimal amount of retractive power for shirtings. INVISTA is debuting this new brand concept and fabric innovations at Mercedes Benz fashion week in New York through a collaboration with CFDA Award Winners, Rag & Bone, as well as acclaimed ready-to-wear designer Derek Lam.
