CORDURA® Baselayer Brand Now Features FreshFX® Fabric Technology

Silver-Based Fabric Technology Provides Long-Lasting Freshness

INVISTA’s CORDURA® brand team unveils its latest innovation – CORDURA® Baselayer freshFX® fabric. Based on a silver-based technology, CORDURA® Baselayer freshFX® fabrics not only provide long-lasting freshness for the standard life of the garment but also have the added benefit of built-in CORDURA® brand durability.

“We realized we needed to develop a fabric that could contend with the rigors of combat, law enforcement and the great outdoors,” said Cindy McNaull, global CORDURA® brand manager and marketing director. “By adding freshFX® fabric technology to our existing CORDURA® Baselayer fabric line-up, we are arming our diverse CORDURA® Baselayer fabric customers – which include military, tactical, and outdoor enthusiasts alike – with a next-to-skin layer that has lasting freshness.”

In addition to its silver-based fabric enhancement, CORDURA® Baselayer freshFX® fabric continues to offer the unique blend of features found in traditional CORDURA® Baselayer fabrics – No Melt, No Drip thermal protection when exposed to heat in flash fire situations, outstanding moisture management, extreme comfort, and exceptional durability.

Garments made with CORDURA® Baselayer freshFX® fabric are now available through TRU-SPEC® brand (www.truspec.com) and distributors. Additional information and ‘Buy On Line’ links for the CORDURA® Baselayer brand family of products can be found at www.DefendYourBase.com.
