Chia Her is a textile manufacturer that develops and supplies high value, innovative products to leading global brands in outdoor, sports, fashion, home and industrial materials. Their new collection will showcase both intimate blended knit and baselayer styles, as well as double weaves and laminate CORDURA® Combat Wool™ fabrics that incorporate Merino wool next-of-skin and hard wearing yet stylishly durable CORDURA® fabric on the outside. Chia Her’s collection of CORDURA® Combat™ Wool fabrics will also be on display at the Summer OR show in booth 255-409.
Burlington Industries, a leading global textile company, has developed a full collection of innovative woven CORDURA® Combat Wool™ fabrics that provide a significant performance advantage without sacrificing the natural aesthetic or insulation qualities of 100% Merino wool fabrics. According to independent lab testing, Burlington’s woven CORDURA® Combat Wool™ fabrics provide twice the tensile strength, 1.4 times the tear strength, and more than ten times the abrasion resistance of equivalent weight 100% Merino wool fabrics. Burlington has developed shirting, bottom, and jacket weight fabrics appropriate for a wide range of end-use applications. Burlington’s full collection of CORDURA® Combat™ Wool fabrics will be on display at the Summer OR show in booth MR150A, as well as CORDURA® brand booth 39213.
Rounding out the collection are CORDURA® Combat Wool™ socks made with an intimate blend of Merino wool and INVISTA T420 nylon 6,6 staple fiber from China mill, Xialu, as well as a midlayer 270gsm nylon 6,6/wool/elastane knit CORDURA® Combat Wool™ fabric from Chang-Ho Fibre Corporation, Taiwan.
Appropriate for everyday lifestyle, outdoor, and adventure wear, the new CORDURA® x Alex Valdman Collection features crossover pieces powered by CORDURA® Combat wool™ that embrace the growing consumer need for fashionable, functional apparel. His simple design silhouettes demonstrate the diversity of durable CORDURA® Combat Wool™ fabrics and celebrate the versatility of today’s performance driven consumers.
CORDURA® brand fabrics are known for their durability, and the new CORDURA® Combat Wool™ fabric line is no exception. The addition of nylon to wool provides added robustness while maintaining all the intrinsic benefits of wool including excellent temperature and moisture management control.
The full collection of CORDURA® Combat™ Wool fabrics will be on display at the Summer OR show in Salt Lake City, Utah, August 6-9 in booth #39213.
