Rows of Trees at INVISTA Maitland Site

In May, the INVISTA Maitland team partnered with Cataraqui Regional Conservation Authority and Forest Ontario to plant more than 28,000 White Spruce, White Pine, and Norway Spruce trees on 36 acres across the property. This project was in recognition of the site’s energy intensity reduction efforts – over the past ten years, employees reduced the energy it takes to make their product by more than one-third.

In addition, once the planting was complete in designated areas at the site, a small number of surplus trees were made available for employees to plant at their homes.
