INVISTA Victoria Site Achieves ISCC PLUS Recertification

Recertification comes after announced ISCC PLUS program expansion

Repeat certification of Victoria signals commitment to helping customers achieve their goals, dedication to stewardship framework

WICHITA, Kan. -- Just weeks after announcing the expansion of its ISCC PLUS certification program, INVISTA’s Victoria, Texas, site achieved ISCC PLUS recertification of its bio, circular, bio-circular, and renewable* adipic acid, adiponitrile (ADN) and hexamethylene diamine (HMD) products.

The repeat certification of the Victoria site signals INVISTA’s continued commitment to being a preferred partner that helps its customers reach their goals and its dedication to the company’s stewardship framework.

“I’m proud of the whole Victoria team for their commitment to innovation and stewardship to provide products to our customers that help support their goals,” said Victoria plant manager Adam Remlinger.

“This achievement not only reflects our team's dedication to excellence but also reinforces our commitment to innovation and stewardship,” said Ethel Garnier, Global Sustainability Director - Nylon, INVISTA. “This certification strengthens our ability to provide customers with high-quality, alternative solutions that align with their environmental goals.”

In addition to recertifications, INVISTA is seeking first time ISCC PLUS certification of its Rozenburg (The Netherlands) nylon 6,6 plant and its nylon 6,6 polymer facility at the Shanghai Chemical Industry Park (China). Once these certifications are obtained, INVISTA will be the first integrated supplier capable of producing ISCC PLUS certified nylon 6,6 polymer in North America, Europe and Asia to support global customers.

ISCC PLUS is a global certification system that uses fully independent, external audits to verify the sourcing and traceability of biomass and circular products applying a mass-balance approach. It validates consistency with environmental, social, and governance criteria throughout the supply chain, and the certification provides assurance to consumers and stakeholders regarding the production practices and use of resources.
